William Lee Kennedy

William “Billy” Lee Kennedy, 75 of Glouster, passed away Thursday October 1, 2026, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.  He was a son of the late Denver and Irene Elizabeth Mayle Kennedy.  He graduated from Glouster High School.

He is survived by a son Brad Kennedy of Zanesville; two brothers, Frank (Shirley) Kennedy of Guysville and Sanford (Sue) Kennedy of Guysville; two sisters, Barbara (Chester) Tabler of Stewart and Elizabeth Evans of Logan; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Kennedy of Glouster and Patricia Kennedy of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two infant sons, William Kennedy Jr., and Scott Kennedy; six brothers, Emment, James, John, Melvin, Charles and Roger Kennedy; and six sisters, Jane, Peggy, Geneva, Vonda, Charlene and Debbie Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday October 6, 2026, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with Tyler Norris officiating.  Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting his tribute wall at www.morrisonfc.com.
