William L. Harmon

William L. Harmon passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, August 24, 2026, with his beloved cat, Wyatt, by his side. Born November 23, 1966, in Nelsonville, he was the son of the late William D. and Inez Stanley Harmon. He was a former member of the Jacksonville Eagles. Bill enjoyed bowling and was known for his deep affection for animals.

He is survived by sisters, Debbie (Dave Lemon) Buckman, Robin McWhorter, and Sharon (Bill) Bycofski, all of Jacksonville, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Yvonne Muncy and Gary Muncy; and nephews, Matthew Buckman and Adam Jago.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday September 4, 2026, at the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster with Jon Hanning officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel.  You may send a message of comfort to the family by visiting www.morrisonfc.com.
