William Freeborn Obituary

William D. Freeborn, 67 of Chesterhill went to
be with our Lord June 14, 2007 at his
residence following an extended illness. He
was born January 10, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was a retired contractor and stone mason
and attended the Bartlett Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years,
Barbara Dyer Freeborn of Chesterhill; 1 son
and best buddy, John Wayne (Adria) Freeborn of
Chesterhill; 5 daughters, Theresa Irene
Freeborn Eckelberry of Columbus, Jewellee
Lenora (Brian "Blue" Mayle) Freeborn of
Athens, Emily Eve (Tom McAllister) Freeborn of
Chesterhill, Summer Marie (Corey) Wheatley of
Athens, and Starr Lynn (Wesley Flowers)
Freeborn of Chesterhill; 16 grandchildren,
Kristine and Corey Krigbaum, Michael
Sinkowski, Uriah, Elijah, Zyiah, Nia, William,
and Gabriel Freeborn, one unborn granddaughter
Freeborn, Dream Starr Freeborn, Isiah Flowers,
and Tamia Miracle; 1 sister, Joyce Suggs of
Florida; a special aunt who he called mom,
Maxine Saxton of Reynoldsburg; and several
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John
Wayne Freeborn; his mother, Doris Martin
Clark; and a special Uncle Russ Saxton.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Tuesday June 19, 2007 at the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, 6525 St. Rt. 78, Glouster-Bishopville
with the Rev. Jack Berry officiating.
Interment will be in the Joy Cemetery on
County Rd. 4, Morgan County. Friends may call
at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 9
p.m. He will be sadly missed. We love you
Billie, Dad and Grandpa. We couldn't have
gotten through it all without God, family,
relatives, friends and Hospice. Thank you so
