William "Dean" Burch, 80, of Nelsonville,
formerly of Glouster, passed away Thursday
August 11, 2005 at his residence. Born July
30, 1925 in Nelsonville, Ohio, he was the son
of the late Luther and Hazel Auflick Burch. He
was a Navy World War II and Korean War
Veteran. He was a member of the Jacksonville
VFW Post #9866. He retired from North American
Rockwell and Ralston Purina.
He is survived by 2 sons; Raymond (Talona)
Burch of Glouster, and Donald (Melissa) Burch
of Glouster, 1 daughter; Christine Ackison
(Roger Alfman) of the home, 4 grandchildren;
Raymond Adam Burch, D. Bradley Burch, Marjory
Eileen Burch, and Travis E. Cinquepalmi, and 1
brother; Joseph (Hazel) Burch of Nelsonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie
Schoonover Burch; 2 sons; Richard and
William "Willie" Burch, and a son in law;
Hobert "Hobie" Ackison.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Monday August 15, 2005 at the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rev. Tammy
Erwin officiating. Interment will be in the
Greenlawn Cemetery-New Addition, Nelsonville
where there will be a military graveside
service conducted by the Combined Color Guard
Unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on
Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and also on
Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
