Virgil Kittle Obituary

Virgil M. Kittle, 76, of Glouster, who was a
Homer Township Trustee for 16 years, passed
away Tuesday March 15, 2005 at Doctor's West
Hospital, Columbus. He was born January 19,
1929 in Bremen, Ohio. He was the son of the
late Deslar M. and Julia Kittle. He was the
former owner and operator of Kittle's Red Rose
Farm Supply in Nelsonville for 34 years. He
also was part of the original construction of
the Tom Jenkins Dam. He was an army veteran
of
the Korean War and very proud of his country.
He was a lifetime member of the Jacksonville
V.F.W. Post #9866, a member of the Combined
Color Guard Unit, and also a member of the
Bishopville Church of Christ. He was a former
member of the Nelsonville Lion's Club,
Nelsonville Elk's Lodge and the Glouster Moose
Lodge #1197.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy
Ann Brown Kittle of Glouster; 3 sons, Virgil
C.
(Ruth) Kittle of Nelsonville, Sheldon M.
Kittle
of Orbiston, and Clifford J. Kittle of
Nelsonville; 1 daughter Judy L. (Robert)
Anders
of Dover, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, Olivia
(David) Martin of Powell, Melinda Kittle and
fiance Hunter Young, Lacie (Anthony) Fleming
of
Dover, Lindsay (Kevin) Mark of Dover, Larissa
Anders of Dover, Carrie Anders of Dover, Ryan
(Shanyl) Kittle of Logan, Jami Kittle of
Nelsonville, Scott Kittle of Orbiston; one
great grandson Kaden Robert Fleming of Dover;

brothers Joseph (Janice) Kittle, and Bill
(Marlene) Kittle all of Glouster; 3 sisters,
Anna Malone, of Glouster, Norma Malone of
Glouster, and Carolyn (Denzel) Shriver of
McConnelsville.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on
Friday
March 18, 2005 at the Bishopville Church of
Christ with John Wright officiating.
Interment
will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster
where there will be a military graveside
service conducted by the Combined Color Guard
Unit. Friends may call at the Morrison
Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville on Thursday from
4
to 8 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the
service at the Church. Contributions can be
