Tyler D. Davis

Tyler D. Davis, 33 of Glouster passed away Thursday August 6, 2026, at Ohio Health O’Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. He was born on January 24, 1993, in Athens. He was a member of the Glouster Moose and the Jacksonville Eagles. Tyler loved being around people and was known as the life of the party. He especially enjoyed playing pool, buggy riding, boating, deer hunting, and spending time outdoors. 

Tyler is survived by his mother, Lisa Davis; his children, Hunter, Gabby, Carson and Wesley Davis; and Braxton and Aleha Simerly, whom he thought of as his own; siblings, Brandi and Amber Drake, Jason Davis and Brandy Davis; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce E. Davis; a brother, Gregory Paul Drake; maternal grandparents, Claude and June Janes; paternal grandparents, Jack and Rosemary Davis.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bishopville Church of Christ.  A celebration of life will be held at the Glouster Moose immediately following the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 State Route 78, Glouster, Ohio 45732 to assist with final expenses.  A message of comfort may be sent by visiting www.morrisonfc.com.
