Timothy William McDonald, 66 of Murray City passed away Tuesday August 13, 2024, at Ohio Health O’Bleness Hospital, Athens. Born October 8, 1957, in Barberton, Ohio, he was the son of the late William “Willie” and Hazel Arlene Whitney McDonald. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran. Tim was a former Murray City Police Officer, a member of the Murray City American Legion #420, and an active member of the Combined Color Guard Unit.
He is survived two sons, Jason and Jeremy McDonald; two daughters, Mindy and Georgina Arnold; several grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Lisa McDonald.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by companions, Cindy Robson and Ruth “Hippie” Barlow.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday August 17, 2024, at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Jon Hanning officiating. A visitation will take place on Saturday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.
