Timothy Eugene Dennis

Timothy Eugene Dennis, age 56, passed away on August 19, 2026, surrounded by his family in Lancaster, Ohio. He was born on June 29, 1970 in Logan, Ohio.

Timothy is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife of 35 years, Angela Dawn Dennis, his son Damion Dennis (Katie), his daughter Ciarra Dennis (Anthony), his mother Carol Dennis (Leslie), his brother Randy Dennis (Carolyn), his brother Todd Dennis (Sarissa), father and mother in law John and Teresa Young, and his brother in law John Young II (Andrea), along with several nieces and nephews.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Dennis, his sister Shelly Seeber (Jack Seeber), his grandfather Don Timmons, his grandmother Winona, and his sister in law Carolyn Dennis.

Timothy spent his life in selfless service of others. He courageously served our country in the United States Navy, serving during Operation Desert Storm. He spent 15 years serving his community as a Columbus Firefighter and Paramedic, saving countless lives. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and son. He was a passionate world traveler. He was emphatically devoted to his family and to his savior Jesus Christ.
 

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday August 24, 2026, at the Bishopville Church of Christ.  Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield where there will be a Firefighter Honor Guard Service conducted by the Columbus Division of Fire and a military graveside service conducted by the United States Navy and the Combined Color Guard Unit.  Visitation will take place on Sunday at the church from 2 to 6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting the tribute wall at www.morrisonfc.com.
