Timothy Wayne Brooks

Timothy Wayne Brooks, 69 of Glouster passed away Thursday June 4, 2026 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus surrounded by his family.  He is the son of Carole Dodd Brooks and the late Francis Brooks.  He formerly drove for Pepsi and Hogan Trucking in Zanesville and later retired from USF Holland Trucking in Columbus.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union in Columbus, Jacksonville Eagles Aerie #1034 and the Jacksonville V.F.W. Tim was known for his sense of humor and his annual 4th of July parties and having a good time with his friends and family. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karri Brooks; two children, Jason (Tricia) Carano and Nikki (Nick) Jerger; five grandchildren, Logan (Kevin) Thurman, Dylan (Skylar) Carano, Corbin Stalder, Aubrey Keys, and Layla Jerger; a brother, Joe (Sharon) Brooks; three nieces; several great nieces and great nephews; and his beloved dog, Laynie.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Amber Balawender. 

A cremation has taken place.  The family will hold a celebration of life at the Brooks annual 4th of July party at the Brooks residence.  A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
