Thomas M. Hamill, 60 of Glouster passed away
Sunday October 14, 2007 at his residence.
Born January 7, 1947 in Carbon Hill, he was
the son of the late Bernard and Blanche
Gardner Hamill. He was a Vietnam army veteran
and a member of the D.A.V.
He is survived by his wife, Janice T. Sayers
Hamill of Glouster; 7 sons, Dennis (Michelle)
Hamill of Lancaster, Scott Hamill of Columbus,
David Hamill of Wisconsin, Michael (Liz)
Hamill of Columbus, Chase Hamill of Glouster,
Johnathon Hamill of Glouster, and Phillip
Sayers of Groveport; 2 daughters, Mary Anne
(Vince) Mullins of Dublin and Tammy (Larry)
Hashman of McArthur; 10 grandchildren,
Tabatha, Adam, Jared, Josh, Abigail, Savannah,
Mike, Trisha, Ashley, and Katrina; 2 brothers,
John (Emma) Hamill of Virginia and Joe (Lotta)
Hamill of Kentucky; a special niece, Hallie
Hartley of Trimble; several other nieces and
nephews; and a special caregiver whom he
thought of as a daughter, Crystal Richards.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by a sister, Patricia Sayers and an infant
brother David.
The family would like to extend a special
thank you to, Deanna, Pam, Sharon, Kathy,
Vickie, Susan and Barb from the Appalachian
Community Hospice for all their special care
and kindness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Thursday October 18, 2007 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery
where there will be a military graveside
service conducted by the combined color guard
unit. Friends may call at the funeral home on
Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
