Talona R. Burch

Heaven gained another angel on Saturday August 17, 2024.  Talona Raye Burch, 58 of Glouster passed away at the Kimes Convalescent Center, Athens.  Born August 21, 1965 in Nelsonville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Donna Brown Long.  She previously worked as a cashier at the Trimble Kroger and Glouster Dollar General.  Talona enjoyed stargazing, boating, camping, and interacting with her customers at work.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Raymond J. Burch; stepson, Raymond A. Burch; stepdaughter, Marjorie Eileen Bailey; granddaughter, Jaylynn Rae Bailey; a brother-in-law, Don (Melissa) Burch; nephews, John Long, Brad Burch, and Travis Cinquepalmi; nieces, Melissa Long-Gerber and Crystal Long; a special friend, Lori Taylor; and her fur babies.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Jacobs; a sister, Linda L. Muenick; a brother, John Long; a nephew, Robert “Bobby” Stires; and a sister-in-law, Christine Burch Ackison.
