Steve M. Kennard, 49 of Trimble passed away
Friday January 25, 2008 at his residence. He
was born June 13, 1958 in Fairfield County.
He was a member of the Jacksonville Eagles and
a social member of the Jacksonville V.F.W.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman and especially
loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy D.
Rushing Kennard of Trimble; 2 brothers, Randy
(Darlene) Kennard of TN., and Brad Kennard of
Trimble; 1 sister, Valarie (Steve) Arnold of
Glouster; nieces and nephews, Amy Morris,
Angel Edwards, Matthew Sawyers, and families;
2 special great nephews, Kyler Kennard and
Kenzie Morris; 2 aunts, Judy Young and family
and Barbara Mayes and family; an uncle, Danny
Rushing and family; and a special dog, Tippie.
He was preceded in death by his father,
William L. Kennard; his paternal grandparents,
John and Opal Kennard; and special maternal
grandparents, Christine and Walter Rushing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Tuesday January 29, 2008 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with Rodger Powell
officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-
Bishopville on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
