Stanley L. Goldsberry, 81 of Glouster passed
away Monday September 1, 2008 at his
residence. Born April 26, 1927 in
Springfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late
Walter and Mary Binckley Goldsberry. He was a
Navy veteran and retired from the Newark Air
Force Station.
He is survived by 2 sons, John (Angie)
Goldsberry of St. Louis and Dana Goldsberry of
Buckeye Lake; 2 daughters, Rebecca (Michael)
Guinsler of Newark and Deborah (Tony) Mangine
of Pataskala; 6 grandchildren, Christa, Kevin,
Baron, Natalie, Jonathan, and Jillian; 3 great
grandchildren, Tyler, Lauren, and Drew; 1
brother, Carl Goldsberry of Springfield; and 2
sisters, Ruth (George) Shield and Geneva
Sprinkler, both of Springfield.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by his wife, Alice B. Goldsberry; 1 son, Kevin
Bruce Goldsberry; and 2 grandsons, David
Arbaugh and Jason Curtis Goldsberry.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on
Thursday September 4, 2008 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with John
Wright officiating. Friends may call at the
funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the
time of service. There will be a military
service conducted by the combined color guard
unit at 3 p.m. A comforting message may be
