Sharon Buckley

Sharon M. Buckley, 77 of Glouster, passed away Wednesday August 27, 2025, at her residence.  She was born on September 2, 1947, in Glouster, a daughter of the late Jack and Violet Gilmore Lewis.  She greatly loved animals and nature and enjoyed taking long car rides. 

She is survived by her husband Dana Buckley; two brothers, John Lewis and Chuck Lewis and two sisters, Linda Dixon and Sue Moore.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother David Lewis and a sister Kathy Balantine.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday August 29, 2025, at Maplewood Cemetery in Glouster, with Jon Hanning officiating.  Contributions in memory of Sharon can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Paws of Honor, 263 Mclaws Circle, Suite 104, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
