Sarah A. Swaro, 88 of Glouster passed away
Monday January 19, 2009 at her residence.
Born October 13, 1920 in Perry County, she was
the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth
Leughborn Rankin. She was a registered nurse
and formerly taught Nursing at Hocking
College.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Linda
Richards and Agnes Swaro, both of Glouster; 12
grandchildren; several great grandchildren; 8
great great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Hanah
Parker of Little Rock, Arkansas, Mary Docie of
Glouster, Shirley Roberts of Millfield, and
Josephine McLaughlin of Dayton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, Edward Swaro who passed away
in 1993; a son, Edward Ronald Swaro; two
brothers, Bill and James Rankin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Thursday January 22, 2009 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with John Wright
officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the church on Wednesday from 6 to 8
p.m. Arrangements are by the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A comforting
