Roy Roger Minerd

Roy Roger Minerd, 59, of Glouster passed away
Tuesday November 2, 2004 at the O.S.U. Medical
Center, Columbus. He was born May 24, 1945 in
Athens County. He was the son of the late
Basil and Audrey Minerd. He was a former
member of the Glouster Eagles.

He is survived by a son Roger D. (Leta) Minerd
Sr. of Logan, a daughter Brenda (John) Moore
of Glouster, 6 grandchildren; Nakisha Hogue,
Roger Dewayne Jr., Hayley, and Christian
Minerd all of Logan, Monika and John Steven
Moore Jr., both of Glouster, 1 brother; Gary
Minerd of North Carolina, 3 sisters; Shirley
of Glouster, Donna of Columbus, and Jean of
Athens.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by brothers Richard, Larry, Charles, Junior,
and Eddie Minerd.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Saturday November 6, 2004 at Morrison Funeral
Chapel Glouster-Bishopville with Tim Seevers
officiating. Interment will be in Clarks
Chapel Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call at
the Funeral Home on Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
