Ronald M. Gravier, 57, of Trimble passed away
peacefully amongst his loving family at his
home in Trimble on Saturday January 7, 2006.
He proudly served our country as a Sgt. in
Vietnam between the years of 1968 to 1970. His
passion for automobiles kept him as a lifelong
mechanic, retiring from Larry Schey Chevrolet,
Athens. He was a member of the Jacksonville
V.F.W. Post #9866.
He is survived by his loving companion and
caretaker Dorothy Kennard of Trimble; his
father Marvin Gravier of Manchester, OH; 1 son
James Jordan of Akron; 2 daughters Kris Murphy
and Alison Gravier both of South Carolina; 4
grandchildren; 1 brother Tom Gravier; 3 sisters
Donna, Patty and Susie all of Akron; he was
also a loving father figure to Dorothy's
children, Steve, Randy and Brad Kennard and
Valarie Arnold and grandfather to her 3
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in his passage to Heaven by his
wife, Alice L. Gravier and his mother Lenora
Gravier.
This wonderful man touched his family and
friends in a very special way with his
enlightening personality and humorous nature.
Forever in our hearts his light will live on in
each and every one of us for all eternity, our
beautiful Angel…..Ron.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Wednesday January 11, 2006 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with
Rodger Powell officiating. Interment will be
in the Maplewood Cemetery where there will be a
military graveside service conducted by the
Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call at
the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. A
