Rodney Fleming, 44, of Glouster passed away Wednesday May 19, 2004 at Logan Health Care Center. He was born April 24, 1960 in Muskingum County. He was the son of the late Hugh and Ruby Day Fleming. He formerly taught Auto Mechanics at Morgan High School. He was a member of the Reinersville Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Jean Smathers Fleming of Glouster, children he thought of as his own, Sam Smathers of Jacksonville, Danny Martin of Mt. Vernon, Tanya Noland of Morgan County, a very special granddaughter who meant the world to him Brittany Noland, brothers Larry (Sandy) Fleming of Mt. Perry, George (Judy) Fleming of Malta, Johnson (Charlene) Fleming of McConnelsville, Randy (Konnie) Fleming of Plain City, Norman (Dawn) Fleming of Mt. Gilead, a sister Irene (Virgil) Cobb of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by a brother James Fleming.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 22, 2004 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel Glouster-Bishopville. Interment will be in the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday 4 to 8 p.m. where there will be a Masonic Service held at 7:30 p.m.
