Richard Messick

Richard E. Messick Jr., 76 of Crestview Hills,
Ky. passed away Tuesday October 13, 2009 at
St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa. Born
November 27, 1932 in Dayton, Ky., he was the
son of the late Richard E. and Dorothy Ahrens
Messick. He was a United States Air Force
veteran. He worked as an electrician and was
a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 212.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Chadwell
Messick of Crestview Hills, Ky.; one son, Rick
Messick of Ann Arbor, Mi.; two daughters,
Michele Burris of Ann Arbor, Mi. and Jennifer
(Gerry) Robbins of Rochester Hills, Mi.; two
step sons, Chuck (Suzy) Linden of Center
Valley, Pa. and Mark (Maura) Lindenfeld of
Keller, Tx.; 13 grandchildren; two great
granddaughters; one brother, Eugene Messick of
Cincinnati; one sister, Kay Kerl of
Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on
Saturday October 31, 2009 at Hilltop Cemetery,
Millfield with John Wright officiating. There
will be a military graveside service conducted
by the combined color guard unit.
