Peggy Norris Obituary

Peggy Jean Kennedy Norris, 59 of Malta passed
away Friday August 31, 2007 at the Good
Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville. Born April
29, 1948 in Glouster, she was the daughter of
the late Denver and Irene Elizabeth Mayle
Kennedy. She was a 1967 graduate of Glouster
High School and was employed by the Parmiter
Nursing Home in Malta.

She is survived by her lifetime companion,
Dana Lee Fischer of Malta; 3 sons, Randy
(Paula) Norris of Chesterhill, Brian (Tracey)
Norris and Clyde Norris Jr. both of Malta; 3
daughters, Connie (Tony) Fischer of Malta,
Beverly (Jeff) Mayle of Glouster, and Monica
Norris of Malta; 4 granddaughters, Nichole,
Halie, Ashley and Khalia Norris; 1 step
granddaughter, Alexis Eckert; 9 grandsons,
Dustin and Travis Fischer, Tyler, Jacob,
Justin, Isiah, Jordan, Vaden Jr., and Jonah
Norris; 7 brothers, Frank (Shirley) Kennedy of
Guysville, Melvin (Patricia) Kennedy of
Zanesville, Sanford (Sue) Kennedy of
Guysville, John (Ruth) Kennedy of Glouster,
William Kennedy of Glouster, Roger (Nancy)
Kennedy of Glouster, and Charles (Ann) Kennedy
of Chesterhill; 6 sisters, Geneva Leach of
Glouster, Vonda Sue Williams of Glouster,
Elizabeth (Richard) Evans of New Straitsville,
Barbara (Chester) Tabler of Stewart, Charlene
(Stanley) Mayle of McConnelsville, and Debbie
(Gilbert) Fischer of Malta.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by a daughter, Loretta Kaye Norris; 2
brothers, Emmett Leroy and James Leonard
Kennedy; 1 sister, Jane Kennedy; maternal
grandparents, Harry and Winnie Mayle of
Glouster; and paternal grandparents, Frank and
Blanche Kennedy of Cutler.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Tuesday September 4, 2007 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with Rev. Delbert Bennett
officiating. Interment will be in the
Glouster Cemetery. Friends may call at the
Morrison Funeral Chapel on Monday from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. A comforting message may be
