Pauline O. Dew, 76 of Glouster passed away
Wednesday February 7, 2007 at her residence.
She was born July 17, 1930 in Athens County.
She was the daughter of the late William and
Sarah Anna McClelland Lewis. She retired from
the O'Bleness Memorial Hospital where she
worked as a phlebotomist. After Pauline
retired, she volunteered for the S.T.A.R.S.
program at the Trimble Local Elementary
School. She was a member of the Glouster
Church of Christ, where she was active in the
Lady's Missionary Group.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years,
Thomas O. Dew of Glouster; 2 daughters, Linda
K. Dils of Fairborne and Cathy (Dennis) Sowers
of Columbus; 3 grandchildren, Tammy Sandlin,
Trista (Brad) Horner, and Sara Keith; 3 great
grandchildren, Tyler Sandlin, and Autumn and
Nathan Horner; and 2 sisters, Norma Jean
Shepard of Florida and Betty Jean Cunningham
of Marengo.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by an infant daughter, Barbara Jean Dew.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Monday February 12, 2007 at the Glouster
Church of Christ with David Couch
officiating. Interment will be in the Dew
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville on Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions can
