Myrtle Rutter

Myrtle M. Rutter, 74, of Nelsonville passed
away Saturday January 20, 2007 at the Akron
City Hospital. She was born March 23, 1932 in
Franklin County. She was the daughter of the
late Delmar and Eunice Lambert Nutt. She was
the wife of the late Joe Edward Rutter.

She is survived by 3 sons, Ace J. Rutter of
Nelsonville, Jerry (Mae) Rutter of
Nelsonville, and Joseph (Mary) Rutter of
Chauncey; 6 daughters, Nancy (Willard) Cupp of
Nelsonville, Alvira Spears of Chauncey, Mary
Lou Lasure of Athens, Kathy (Allen) May of
Nelsonville, Gloria Rutter of Texas, and Ellen
Rutter of New Lexington; 34 grandchildren; 60
great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles
(Linda) Nutt of Columbus, and Arthur Nutt of
Logan; 3 sisters, Mabel (Russell) Bagley of
Zanesville, Margie (Robert) Craig of Columbus,
and Gail Surber of Columbus; a special friend,
Jean Kempton of Athens; and several nieces and
nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by 1 son, Ted Rutter; a granddaughter,
Cassandra Spears; a brother Delmar Nutt; and a
son in law, Clarence Spears.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Monday January 29, 2007 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Hilltop Cemetery,
Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral
