Melody "Dawn Dawn" Hooper, 21 of Glouster
passed away Saturday January 17, 2009 in
Glouster. She was born February 3, 1987 in
Athens.

She is survived by her parents, Tom and
Carolyn Duncan Hooper of Glouster; three
brothers, Michael Vess Jr., Jason (Sacha)
Vess, and Donald (Whitnie) Hooper all of
Glouster; a sister, Mandy (Nathan) Ammons of
Glouster; three nephews, Eli Riley, Dakota
Ammons, and Mason Hooper; a niece, Savannah
Long; her grandmother, Beatrice Collins; aunts
and uncles, Tammy (Randy) Roberts, Shirley
(Dallas) Cook, Margie (Brent) Webb, Jack
(Brenda) Russell, Billy (Angie) Russell, Andy
Russell, David (Cheryl) Duncan, Cliff (Trish)
Hooper, Debbie (Larry) Cochran, Mike (Mary)
Hooper, Pat Hooper, Tim Hooper, Donna
Matthews, Bell (Keith) Pearson, Christy
Bosworth, Candace Graham, Jeanie (L.G.)
Hollingsworth; 44 cousins; best friend and
cousin, Shelly Robson; and very special
friends, Ed Harding and Liz Jenkins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents,
Donald and Ruth Hooper; grandfather Otis J.
Duncan; an aunt, Charlotte Russell; and a
cousin, Chris Haley.

Melody was loved very much and will be sadly
missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Thursday January 22, 2009 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-
Bishopville on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. A
