Mary Elizabeth Ross, 89 if Strongsville
formerly of Glouster passed away Saturday
April 21, 2007 at the Seasons of Life
Residential Hospice Center, Parma. Born May
9, 1917 in Athens County, she was the daughter
of the late Alden and Racie Martin Wells. She
was the wife of the late Dr. James A. Ross.
She graduated from Ohio University. She
retired from the Parma Public Schools where
she taught business for 35 years. She was
Past President of the Strongsville Women's
League.
She is survived by 1 sister, Billie (Ralph)
Byers of Sagamore Hills; 3 nephews, Curt, Rick
(Lynne), and Randy Jago; and close friends and
caregivers, Steve and Sandy Hippensteele.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters,
Dorothy Morgan, Donna Miller, and Aldean Jago;
and 1 niece, Judy McIntyre.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on
Monday at the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster
with John Wright officiating. Friends may
call at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-
Bishopville on Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A
