Mary E. Montgomery Reid

Mary E. Montgomery Reid, 81, of Millfield
passed away Friday March 11, 2005 at the
O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. She was
born March 13, 1923 in Meigs County. She was
the daughter of the late William and Esther
Glenn Vanelmsick.

She was a foster grandparent.

She is survived by 4 sons; Fred (Linda)
Montgomery of London, OH, Will Montgomery of
Blacklick, OH, John (Connie) Montgomery of
Westerville, OH, Butch (Sharon) Montgomery of
Millfield, 4 daughters; Mary (Herb) Brown of
Athens, Carol (Dave) Smith of Millfield,
Esther (Rod) Lamp of St. Mary's, WV, and Donna
(Doug) Graham of Gloucester, VA, 22
grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and
one great great granddaughter.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death
by her first husband, Hugh Edward Montgomery,
her second husband, William L. Reid, 3 sons;
Jack, Ted, and Chuck Montgomery, 1 grandson;
Scott Jackson and one granddaughter Lori
Montgomery.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday
March 15, 2005 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel,
Glouster-Bishopville with Pastor Jeff
Schofield officiating. Interment will be in
the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions can be made to
