Mary Giroski Obituary

Mary E. (Dixon) Giroski, 65, of Glouster
passed away Sunday July 16, 2006 at the
Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. She was
born January 27, 1941 in Athens County. She
was the daughter of the late Charles W. and
Harriett Jane Clark Dixon.

She is survived by her husband, James G.
Giroski of Glouster; 1 daughter, Jean (Tom)
Spears of Glouster; 3 grandchildren, Austin,
T.J., and Kaitlyn Giroski-Spears, all of
Glouster; 3 brothers, Charles (Janet) Dixon of
Glouster, Jim (Vera) Dixon of Pennsylvania,
and Joe (Rhonda) Dixon of Glouster; 6 sisters,
Delilah Hickman, Alice Ronk (Jim Dunwoody),
Shirley Strausbaugh, Carolyn Lafollette,
Billie Jo (Rodney) Wright and Janie Dixon, all
of Glouster; several nieces and nephews; and a
special friend, Betty McDaniel.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by a brother, Larry Wayne Dixon; 2 sisters,
Norma Jean Dixon, and Betty Williams; 2
nieces, Susan Ann Degarmore, and Marlene
Richards; and a great nephew, John Richards.

The family would like to extend a special
thanks to Ron Smith, Todd Wisor, and Steve
Pallo of SEOEMS.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Glouster Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on
Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. A comforting message
