Mark Smith

Mark A. Smith, 36, of Glouster, died
unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October
18, 2003.

He was born on September 14, 1967, in Franklin
County. Mark was an electrician. He graduated
from Alexander High School in 1985. Mark was a
veteran. He served in the United States Navy
from 1987 to 1994. He was also called to duty
and participated in Operation Desert Storm.

He is survived by his mother, Janet O. Smith of
Jacksonville; his father, David E. Smith Sr. of
Millfield; two brothers, David (Barbara) Smith
of Glouster and Robert (Angie) Smith of
Trimble; a sister, Kimberly Leach of Glouster;
nieces and nephews Jason, Jadie and Warren
Smith of Trimble, Nicky, Derek and Aaron Smith
of Glouster, and Crystal and Rose Smith of
Glouster; and a great-nephew, Damon Smith of
Jacksonville. He also is survived by a special
aunt, Mary Ellen Cox of Columbus. He was
preceded in death by his maternal and paternal
grandparents.

Mark will be missed by his family and friends.

According to Mark's wishes, he will be cremated
and there will be no services. Arrangements
are by Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-
Bishopville.
