Marilyn Giffin Hook

Marilyn Giffin Hook, 48 of Millfield passed
away Wednesday October 29, 2008 at her
residence. Born June 17, 1960 in Nelsonville,
she was the daughter of the late Era Kenneth
and Mary Ann Spears Giffin.

She is survived by one son, Steven Douglas
Kaiser of Millfield; a step son, Shannan
Kaiser of Waverly; five brothers, John
(Martha) Giffin of Chauncey, Charles Giffin of
Millfield, Michael (Marti) Giffin of Corning,
Gerald (Brenda) Carney Sr. of Corning, and
Robert (Dixie) Carney of New Lexington; two
sisters, Thelma Giffin of Shawnee and Mary Jo;
her step mother, Barbara Giffin; a sister-in-
law Helen Giffin; several nieces, nephews,
great nieces and great nephews; and a special
friend, Beverly Jane George.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by her companion of 20 years, Douglas Kaiser;
and two brothers, Roy and Kenneth Giffin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Wednesday November 5, 2008 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with
Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be
in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Laurelville.

Wednesday from 12 p.m. until the time of
