Mac Dunlevy, 86 of Millfield passed away quickly but peacefully surrounded by his family on November 7, 2025. Mac was born in Jacksonville, Ohio on February 16, 1939, to the late Ivyl and Freda Dunlevy. Mac lived a long full life marked by love and devotion to his family and those he cherished. Mac and his wife, Mary Lee, enjoyed many vacations together and time with family. One of Mac’s favorite things was to ride through “God’s Country” with his loved ones. A dedicated and hardworking man, Mac spent his career at the Ford Motor Company where he retired in 1999. He was respected by his many friends and all who knew him for his reliability, integrity and love for his family. Mac will forever be loved as a great father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by a son, Mac; daughters, Michele (Orville) and Melinda; Michael Lee Jr. (Shylah); six grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren; and sisters Marie Hogue and Carolyn Jones.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and life-long best friend, Mary Lee Kollar Dunlevy; his son, Michael Dunlevy Sr.; a sister Mary Jane; and a brother Frank.
A visitation will take place on Sunday November 16, 2025 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday November 17, 2025, at the funeral home with Jon Hanning officiating. Interment will be in the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. There will be a dinner at the Bishopville Church of Christ immediately following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation or American Heart Association in memory of Mac.
