Lois Doughty Obituary

Lois "Lou" J. Doughty, 71 of Glouster passed
away Thursday August 23, 2007 at the Riverside
Hospital, Columbus. Born October 8, 1935, she
was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and
Vivian Cozetta Davenport. She was a domestic
engineer and an industrial office cleaner.
She was a member of the Trimble West Side
Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years,
Paul D. Doughty of Glouster; 1 son, Dustin
(Stacey) Doughty of Madison, Alabama; 2
daughters, Donna M. Doughty of Glouster and
Vicki (Bob) Hartman of Columbus; 12
grandchildren, Tina Lape, Scott O'Neal,
Jennifer O'Neal, Ryan Bradley, Kim Hartman,
Lisa Hook, J. R. Hartman, David Hartman, Sarah
Hartman, Cierra Doughty, Logan Doughty and
Alisebeth Doughty; 17 great grandchildren; 3
brothers, Johnathan and Tony Davenport, both
of Oklahoma, and Lloyd Davenport of Delaware;
and 3 sisters, Hazel Hoyer of Galena, Marcella
Colvin of Columbus, and Shirley Keenan of
Flatwoods, KY.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by 2 brothers, Arthur and Tom Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on
Monday August 27, 2007 at the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Evangelist
Tom Butterfield officiating. Interment will
be in the Beechgrove Cemetery, Perry County.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and also one hour
prior to the service on Monday. A comforting
