Linda L. Russell McClain, 79 of Glouster passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. Born October 24, 1946, in Athens, she was the daughter of the late Harry Jr. and Mary Ayers Russell. Linda was a member of the Athens Senior Citizens Center and a former member of the Glouster Eagles. She had a passion for line dancing, playing euchre, and enjoyed lunch with friends, which often included tea parties. Above all, she adored spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Mike) Keith; grandchildren, Brandon Keith, and Austin (Quan) Keith, Gillian Riley, Desiree (Craig) White, Johnny Coey, Gavin Coey, great grandchildren, Kat Campbell, and Mia, Sophia and Grayson Keith; Landen, Lauren, and Layla Riley; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William McClain; a son, John Blaine Coey; brothers, Harry Ray, Floyd, and Cecil Russell; an infant brother, Harold; and a special niece, Mia Russell.
