Larry Bickley

Larry K. "Bic" Bickley, 64 of Glouster passed
away Tuesday December 23, 2008 at the
O'Bleness Memorial Hospital, Athens. Born
June 22, 1944 in Athens, he was the son of the
late Pryce F. and Pauline McFarland Bickley.
He was a member of the Jacksonville and
Corning Eagles.

He is survived by one son, Larry K. Bickley
Jr. of Charlotte N.C.; three daughters, Tammy
(Marvin Murphy) Bickley of Corning, Teresa
Mayle of Glouster, and Tara (Bobby) Walter of
Concord, N.C.; several grandchildren; four
brothers, Dayne, Jim, and Eldon Bickley all of
Glouster, and John Bickley of McConnelsville;
two sisters, Eileen Pierce of Chauncey and
Rose Hart of Glouster; and his life companion,
Shirley Carter.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by four brothers, Donny and Junior Hogue, and
Robert and Norman Bickley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Friday December 26, 2008 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Glouster Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday
from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
