Kenneth E. Holcomb, 66 of Glouster passed away
Wednesday July 8, 2009 at the Logan Health
Care Center. Born August 26, 1942 in Athens
County, he was the son of the late Francis
William and Mildred Lorraine Winter Holcomb.
He was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener,
and loved his two dogs Spike and Cocoa.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and a
friend to everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Louise
Ritchie Holcomb of Glouster; one son, Howard
Keith (Cheryl) Holcomb of Edmonton, Canada;
one daughter, Michelle Dawn Davis of
Princeton, WV.; two step sons, Charles Edward
Ritchie and Timothy Wayne Whipkey; five
grandchildren, Zach, Candice, Kelly, Trayton,
and Cassidy; one great granddaughter, Kristy
Smith; two brothers, Michael A. Holcomb of
Georgia and Richard (Linda) Holcomb of
Millfield; one sister, Carol (Rodney) Riley of
Glouster; and nieces and nephews, Eric (Deb),
Jason and Jennifer Riley, Julie (Steve)
Walburn, and Chas (Terrie) Holcomb.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by an infant sister, Joann Holcomb and a great
nephew, Andrew Seth Riley.
At Kenneth's request, he will be cremated and
there will be no funeral services observed.
