Kelsey Rose Lunsford, four months, of Glouster, went to be with her sister, Kalista, in Heaven on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003 at Children's Hospital in Columbus.
Born July 14, 2003 in Athens, she is survived by her parents, Michael W. and Patricia A. Rankin Lunsford of Glouster; maternal grandparents David and Karen Rankin of Glouster; paternal grandparents Ralph and Robin Lunsford, Peggy Gatchel and Fuzz Limo, all of Glouster; maternal great-grandparent Icy Barrett of Glouster; paternal great-grandparent Martha Harry of Millfield; a brother, Michael W. Lunsford Jr. of the home; a special uncle David Rankin of Glouster; a special great-uncle Gary Wayne Harry of Stockport; an uncle, Charlie Gatchel of Sarasota, Fla.; an aunt, Mary Lowery of Jacksonville; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Kalista Lunsford; maternal great-grandparents George and Gladys Rankin and John Barrett; and paternal great-grandparents William Harry, Elmo Lunsford and Jean Lunsford.
Services will be held Sunday, 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville, with the Rev. John Elswick officiating. Interment will be in Dew Cemetery, Perry County.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.
