Kathryn Joan (Jarvis) Brookover

Kathryn Joan Brookover, 82 of McConnelsville passed away Sunday July 13, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Kimbolton, Ohio.  Born September 29, 1942 in Cincinnati, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Martha Porter Jarvis. 

She retired from the custodial staff at Ohio University. Kathryn was a faithful member of the Church of God in Zanesville.  She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Johnny, Richard, and James; two daughters, Brenda and Katie; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; a brother, Clarence; and two sisters, Charlotte and Freda.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Brookover; a daughter, Connie; a son, Robert; grandson, Eric; great grandson, Dakota; and a sister, Joyce.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday July 17, 2025 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.  A visitation will take place on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of service.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
