Katarina N. Misner

Katarina N. Misner, 23 of The Plains, passed away Sunday February 15, 2026, at her residence.  She was born on June 10, 2002, in Athens.  Katarina attended Beacon School in Athens. During her time there, she participated in the school choir, where she played the tambourine. Katarina enjoyed swimming, going on walks, and taking long and fast drives.

She is survived by her mother, Courtney L. Westerviller and stepfather, Isaac Gill of Athens; father, Raymond E. Misner and stepmother, Brandi Misner of The Plains; a sister, Kylie Dodson of Athens; maternal grandparents, Kimberly Hoskins and Jerry Westerviller; and paternal grandparents, Raymond Sr. and Bettina Misner.

She was preceded in death by an aunt, Priscilla Misner.

A visitation will take place on Saturday February 21, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Morrison Funeral Chapel.  Cremation will follow.  An inurnment will take place at a later date at the Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield.  Contributions can be made to Morrison Funeral Chapel, 6525 State Route 78, Glouster, Ohio 45732 to assist with final expenses.  A message of comfort may be sent to the family at www.morrisonfc.com.
