Joseph Sikorski Obituary

Joseph J. "Pooch" Sikorski, 71, of Glouster
passed away Wednesday March 22, 2006 at
Doctor's Hospital, Nelsonville. He was born
February 27, 1935 in Glouster. He was the son
of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Josephine I.
Covella Sikorski. He was a Navy Korean War
Veteran. He retired from Shelly and Sands
Construction Company and Sunday Creek Valley
Water District. He was a member of the
Glouster Holy Cross Catholic Church and the
Laborers Union #520 in Zanesville.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Duffy
Sikorski of Glouster; a son Keith Sikorski and
JoAnn Sikorski of Glouster; a daughter
Gretchen (Gary) Braglin of Glouster; 6
grandchildren, Patrick, Samantha, Alexandrea,
and Christian Sikorski, Matison and Nathan
Braglin; 8 brothers, Robert, Ron, John, Greg,
Den, Ralph, Mark, and Tim Sikorski; 4 sisters
Pat Hartman, Rose Lieb, Jean Bickley, and
Vicki Ross.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by a daughter Stephanie Sikorski.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on
Monday March 27, 2006 at the Holy Cross
Catholic Church, Glouster with Father John
Mucha officiating. Friends may call at the
funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. where
there will be a military service conducted by
the combined color guard unit at 6:00 p.m. At
Joseph's request, he will be cremated
following the funeral mass. Contributions can
be made to the Trimble Text Book and Supply
Foundation, c/o Sandy Gyure, PO Box 187, 16
Toledo St., Glouster, Ohio 45732. A
