John Richards

John Shanon Richards, 26, of Glouster passed
away unexpectedly on Sunday July 13, 2003 at
Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Born July 9, 1977, in Athens County, he was the
son of David Joe Richards of Glouster and the
late Marlene Williams Richards. He was a 1996
graduate of Trimble High School and was
employed by Complete Rail Sets in Glouster.

Besides his father, he is survived by a son,
Johnathan Shanon Richards; a friend, Jodie
Pason of Nelsonville; two sisters, Brenda (Bob)
Arnold and Tonya (Josh) Braglin; and a brother,
David "Bub" (Heather) Richards, all of
Glouster; nieces, Makenzie and Amanda Arnold,
Chelsea Braglin and Jasmine Richards; nephews,
Dylan Richards, Bobby Jr. and Brandon Arnold;
maternal grandparents John and Betty Williams;
and paternal grandmother, Betty Richards, all
of Glouster; several aunts, uncles, cousins,
and many friends.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by
his paternal grandfather, Joe Richards; an
aunt, Susan Ann DeGarmore; and an uncle, Gary
Frances Richards Sr.

Services will be held Thursday, 1 p.m., at
Morrison Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville,
with Jason Fisher officiating. Interment will
be in Glouster Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on
Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
