John J. "Jack" Lane

John J. "Jack" Lane III, 27 of Glouster went
home to be with the Lord on February 22,
2009. He was born October 29, 1981 in
Athens. He was an Iraqi Freedom army veteran
and currently a Sgt. in the Army National
Guards.

He was the son of Kathy (Kamento) and Randy
Lucas of Glouster; a sister, Lenora Smith of
Glouster; a niece, Janessa, a nephew, Alex; a
sister, Shawna (Matt) Sheaffer of Columbus; a
brother, Kenny Lucas of Columbus; maternal
grandparents, Albert and Leona Kamento of
Glouster; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and
friends.

He was preceded death by his father, John J.
Lane II; and paternal grandparents, Richard
and Doris Lane.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Saturday February 28, 2009 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with Chaplain Andrew Aquino
officiating. Interment will be in the Queen
of Heaven Cemetery, Trimble where there will
be a military graveside service conducted by
the U.S Army color guard. Friends may call at
the Morrison Funeral Chapel on Friday from 2
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions can be
