Jerry Boyd

Jerry Boyd, 69 of Glouster passed away
Wednesday March 25, 2009 at his residence.
Born September 19, 1939 in Canton, Ohio, he
was the son of the late William Mastin and
Juanita Grace Blockson Boyd. He was a United
States Army Veteran, he retired from the Ohio
Department of Natural Resources Division of
Wildlife, and was a member of the Bishopville
Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sylvia
Siudak Boyd of Glouster; one brother, Richard
Michael (Cynthia) Boyd of Laramie, Wyoming;
one nephew, Brian Boyd; and one niece, Darci
(Todd) Corbett.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on
Wednesday April 8, 2009 at the Bishopville
Church of Christ with John Wright and Keith
Cramer officiating. Family will accept
friends on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the
time of service. Contributions can be made to
the Appalachian Community Hospice, 30 Herrold
Ave., Athens, Ohio 45701 or the ALS
Association, 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite
221, Columbus, Ohio 43220. Arrangements are
