Jane E. Jago

Jane E. Jago, 60, of Amesville passed away
Wednesday April 5, 2006 at the Fairfield
Medical Center, Lancaster. She was born June
7, 1945 in Glendale, CA. Jane worked for the
City of Athens for 11 years. Most of that
time spent with the Parks and Recreation
Department. She retired in March 2004 due to
medical conditions. Jane enjoyed watching all
sports and traveling. She was a member and
past president of the Jacksonville V.F.W. Post
#9866 Ladie's Auxiliary. Jane was also a
lover of animals, dogs in particular, and at
the time of her death, she had six dogs. She
married Curtis L. "Curt" Jago on June 20,
1965, where they began their married life in
New Foundland. The Jago's lived in several
countries throughout the 23 years they spent
in the military.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son,
Curtis M. Jago of Orlando, FL; a daughter
Wendi M. (David) Ring of St. Leonard, MD; 2
granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Kamryn Ring; her
mother, Dorothy L. Landis of Seal Beach, CA; a
brother, Keith E. (Linda) Landis of Diamond
Bar, CA; and a sister, Curly (Phillip) Giambri
of New York City, NY.

She was preceded in death by her father
Everett K. Landis.

The family would like to thank the Appalachian
Community Hospice and a special thanks to
Deanna Smith for all her care.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Sunday April 9, 2006 at the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with John Wright
officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Saturday from 5 to
8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service
on Sunday. There will be a service conducted
by the Jacksonville V.F.W. Ladie's Auxiliary
on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. A comforting message
