Jan Stephenson

Jan Stephenson, 64 of Glouster passed away
Wednesday September 17, 2008 at her
residence. Born September 19, 1943 in
Trimble, she was the daughter of the late
Charles "Buck" H. and Mary Belle Cole
Stephenson. She was the owner and operator of
Jan's Beauty and Tanning Salon for 47 years.
She was a member of the Trimble Christian
Church, Order of Eastern Stars Thea Chapter
192 in Trimble, and the Glouster Eagles. Jan
was a big supporter of all her nieces and
nephews and enjoyed attending their sporting
events.

She is survived by two sisters, Verla Penrod
of The Plains and Billie Jo (Richard) Downs of
Glouster; nieces and nephews, Randy (Diana)
Penrod of Senecaville, Rick (Tina) Penrod of
Circleville, Jan (Jeff) Browning of Millfield
and Jennifer Boudinot of Glouster; great
nieces and nephews, Brooks, Macie and Paige
Penrod, Jaime and Jeffrey Browning, and Kevin,
Kacie and Gracie Boudinot.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by an infant sister, Sondra Stephenson and a
brother-in-law, Robert L. Penrod.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Saturday September 20, 2008 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Rev.
Deanna White officiating. Friends may call at
the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6
to 8 p.m. Contributions can be made to the
