James Wolf Obituary

James D. Wolf, of 116 Andover Road, Woodsfield,
Ohio (formerly of Glouster, Ohio) died Sunday,
November 6, 2005 at the Wheeling Hospital,
Wheeling, WV.

He was born at Glouster, Ohio on January 27,
1926 a son of the late Charles and Irene
Jennings Wolf.

He was a retired employee of the Ormet
Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio; a member of the
Glouster United Methodist Church, Glouster,
Ohio; a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W.II.; a member
of the Glouster Masonic Lodge #607, F&AM
Glouster, Ohio; a member of the V.F.W. Post
5303, Woodsfield, Ohio and the Fraternal Order
of Eagles #2302, Woodsfield, Ohio. Jim also
loved to go fishing in his spare time.

In addidion to his parents, he was preceded in
death by 1 son, Curtis Wolf, 1 brother Kenneth
Wolf; 2 brothers-in-law, Edward Moore and
Charles Buchanan.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years,
Lucille "Luke" Moore Wolf whom he married on
November 2, 1946, 1 sister, Charlene (Arthur)
Smith of Athens, Ohio; 2 sisters-in-law,
Virginia Moore of Glouster, Ohio and Louise
Buchanan of Cincinnati, Ohio; 1 brother-in-law,
Arthur (Jody) Moore of Glouster, Ohio; 14
nieces and nephews along with several great
nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral
Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield,
Ohio from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday where
funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. with
Keith Jones officiating.

Additional visitation will be held from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, 6525 State Route 78, Glouster,
Ohio where additional funeral services will be
held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday with Keith Jones
officiating. Burial will follow in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster with full military
graveside services by the Combined Color Guard
Unit. Masonic services will be held at 7:30
p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online
