James Palmer Obituary

James B. Palmer, 45, of Glouster passed away
Sunday December 11, 2005 at the Grant Medical
Center in Columbus. He was born August 11,
1960 in Nelsonville.

He was the manager at Ali's Bar in Glouster for
eight years and he formerly worked as a truck
driver for CRST Trucking. He was formerly a
social member of the Jacksonville V.F.W. Post
#9866 and a member of the Glouster Eagles
#468. He was an avid race car fan. He
especially enjoyed dirt track and nascar.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly S. Jenkins
Palmer of Glouster; his mother Amarilla
Triphine Morrison Palmer of Glouster; a
daughter Jamie Palmer of Glouster; 2 sisters
Ramona Foss and Carolyn (Dayne) Bickley both of
Glouster; his mother and father in law Paul and
Evelyn Jenkins of Glouster; 2 brother-in-laws;
4 sister-in-laws; 3 nephews; 5 nieces; 5 great
nieces; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald
M. Palmer; paternal grandparents Robert and
Myrtle Palmer; maternal grandparents Clifford
and Alice Riley Morrison; and a special
grandmother Daisy Thompson.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Friday December 16, 2005 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on
Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A
