James F. Brown Sr., 69, of Glouster, passed
away Tuesday June 7, 2005 at the Bellevue
Hospital in Sandusky County. He was born
October 7, 1935 in Murray City.
He retired from the Kroger Company where he
worked as a meat cutter. He was an Army
Veteran, a member of the Trimble Masonic
Lodge #557, and also member of the Aladdin
Temple Shrine of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Sparks Coe
Brown of Glouster; 1 son James F. (Jennifer)
Brown Jr. of Albany; 1 daughter Alicia M.
(David) Conner of Glouster; 2 step sons
Richard Coe of Glouster, and J. R. (Kelly) Coe
of Lodi, OH; 2 step daughters Billie (Tom)
Gumpf of Buchtel, and Penny Savage of
Circleville; 5 grandchildren; 9 step
grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; 2
brothers Robert (Bev) Stoncel of Buchtel, and
Ray (Phyllis) Stoncel of Athens; 1 sister Mary
(Gary) Hooper of Trimble; a special aunt and
uncle Ruth and Sonny Saulbeamer of Murray
City; and a special cousin David Brown of
Logan.
He was preceded in death by his father Stanley
Brown, his mother Mary England Brown Stoncel,
and his stepfather Robert "Rab" Stoncel.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Friday June 10, 2005 at the Morrison Funeral
Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with Dr. Tom
Gumpf officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Thursday 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are by the Brown
Funeral Home, Murray City and the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville. A
