Hazel Kestner

Hazel J. Kestner, 88, of Nelsonville passed
away Saturday November 18, 2006 at the
Doctor's Hospital, Nelsonville. She was born
September 24, 1918 in Athens County. She was
the daughter of the late Clyde and Rosetta
Nash Moore.

She is survived by 2 sons, Raymond (Kay)
Kestner of Grove City, and Robert (Frances)
Kestner of Nelsonville; 1 daughter, Caroline
(Virgil) Grandy of Buchtel; 15 grandchildren;
29 great grandchildren; 5 great great
grandchildren; and 1 sister, Maxine (Richard)
Jones of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, C. Raymond "Major"
Kestner Sr. who passed away in 1973; 1
grandson, Timothy Wayne Kestner; and 2
sisters, Thelma Bradley and Helen Sedwick.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Wednesday November 22, 2006 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville.
Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery,
Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral
home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A
