Harry W. Woodring, 89 of Glouster passed away
Friday September 21, 2007 at the Hickory Creek
Nursing Center, The Plains. Born November 6,
1917 in Coeburn, VA, he was the son of the
late Grant and Cynthia Ellen Reed Woodring.
He was the husband of the late Betty Baker
Woodring. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a
member of the Redtown Free Methodist Church.
He is survived by 2 step sons, John Smathers
of Trimble and George Smathers of Somerset; 2
step daughters, Bonnie Fleming of Glouster and
Evelyn Phillips of Carbon Hill; several
grandchildren; a special grandson, Sam
Smathers of Jacksonville; and several great
grandchildren.
There will be no services held at this time.
