Harry V. Sharp, 97 of Trimble passed away
Friday February 9, 2007 at his granddaughter's
residence in Morgan County. He was born April
7, 1909 in Trimble. He was the son of the
late Charles and Phoebe Carsey Sharp. He
retired from Ohio University. He was a loyal
lifetime member and elder at the Trimble
Disciples of Christ Church. Harry also
enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Verna C. Sharp
of Trimble and Yvonne M. Cardaras of Glouster;
5 grandchildren,Warren Smith of Jacksonville,
Richard (Paulette) Blackford of Gallipolis,
Diana (Ron) Smith of Coolville, John (Jessie)
Brammer of Trimble, a special granddaughter,
Angie (Rob) Smith of Glouster; 9 great
grandchildren, Jason and Jadie Smith, Dante,
Brandon, and Brianna Brammer, Jonathan,
Matthew, and Richard Blackford, and Erica
Eing; and 4 great great grandchildren, Hunter
Smith, Madison Blackford, and Trenton and
Grant Coon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death
by his wife, Ocie Milhoan Sharp; a great
granddaughter, Jennifer Blackford; 2 sisters,
Myrtle Meeks and Edna Hayborn; and 4 brothers,
Emmett, Donald, Charles, and Chester Sharp.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on
Wednesday February 14, 2007 at the Trimble
Disciples of Christ Church with John Wright
officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to
4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions can be made
