Georgia Rhodes

Georgia A. Rhodes, 59 of Athens passed away
Thursday November 19, 2009 at the Hickory
Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. She was
born December 4, 1949 in Akron.

She is survived by her mother, Ann May
Burnette of Akron; three daughters, Tammy
Texture of Kent, Ohio, Sharleen Carter of
Akron, and Daisy Carter of Columbus; one son,
Michael J. Evans of Athens; five
grandchildren; two sisters, Patty (Robert)
Whiting and Bonnie (Dewayne) Scheueront, both
of Akron; a special friend, Leo J. Morrison
III; one niece; three nephews; a special
niece, Kimberly Whiting of Akron; and her
special dog, Peanut.

She was preceded in death by her father,
George Burnette.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Monday November 23, 2009 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with John
Wright officiating. Interment will be in the
Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster. Friends may
call at the funeral home on Monday from 12
p.m. until the time of service. A comforting
