George Pugh Obituary

George L. Pugh, 71, of Glouster, passed away
Wednesday September 14, 2005 at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. Born February 11,
1934 in Glouster, he was the son of the late
Joe and Fannie Pugh. He retired from Peabody
Coal Company in New Lexington. He was an Army
Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Smith Pugh; 2
daughters Reba (Martin) Unger of Kingston, and
Rita (Rob) Miller of Glouster; 4 grandchildren
Erin and Abby Lent, and Taylor and Mitch
Miller; and one great grandson, Nicholas Lent.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Lee
Pugh.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Saturday September 17, 2005 at the Morrison
Funeral Chapel, Glouster-Bishopville with John
Wright officiating. Interment will be in the
Glouster Cemetery where there will be a
military graveside service conducted by the
combined color guard unit. Friends may call
at
the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. A
